Descending on single track is an art form. It is a thing of beauty to watch as I followed many for a short time trying to pick up technique or tip to improve my skills.  It is a passion where the rider and mountain bike become one, weaving, crossing-up over jumps, wheeling  over small rollers, in constant motion in their effortless dance on the single track. Riding this terrain feeds their souls that hunger for this delicious type of trail.  They don't use their brakes as they carve out seamless turns of efficiency, leaving me in a blink of an eye.   I was envious as my rhythm was erratic and slow. I braked for each sharp turn.  Didn't matter,  I was still having a blast.
