Fees and Dates

Registration opens May 3th @ 6 pm

The total field of racers is limited to 500 participants or 120 Teams and 70 solos +30 12 Hour Racers.

All pricing is per person except corporate.

Each participant will receive an expertly marked course, course support, a Beanie hat ( or gloves) , and a sticker.

Age limit for youth  is 14 ( unless otherwise arranged with the race director)

SIGN YOU WAIVER: waivers must be completed online prior to showing up for packet pick-up.

 

Forming your Team

Online registration has several great features. Teams may now register and pay for their participants individually.  Worried about not finding the perfect team or getting dinged for late registration? Get your team name signed up with a captain and recruit teammates later. Each person’s fee is based on when they register, not when the team is complete.

We have found teams have great success connecting via Facebook to find the last teammate. So click the link at the top of the site and like our page to connect to other racers.

Corporate teams may add, delete or change members. Normal fee changes apply during packet pick-up.

Walk-up Registration: Registration and changes will be available during packet pick-up on Friday if space permits

Day of Pick-up is available from 7:30 to 9:30 for registration or rider substitution, provided space is available.

WAITLIST : We will start a waitlist once a category is full. You can find people to who want to sell entries to closed categories on our Facebook page or contact the race director. 

Once we are full no new teams can be created.

GRO RACES Cancelation Policy

GRO CANCELLATION POLICY 

No refunds, No exceptions.

We begin planning, permitting,  and purchasing items for an event well in advance based on your pre-registration. Therefore we have a strict no refund policy. Be aware when you decide to register. We feel like our flexible transfer and change policies should accommodate most people and situations.

  1.  45 Days Prior to the event Deadline to Defer to the following year. A fee may apply. You must transfer to the same race and Category.
  2.  10 Days Prior to the event Deadline;
    1. You may transfer your entry to a different participant using the online transfer tool. Registration is transferable to the current event and year only. The deadline to Transfer is 10 days prior to the event online.  You may transfer 1 day before at packet pick-up for corporate teams only.
    2. You may change to a different category for a fee. The last day to make changes is 10 days prior to the race.
  3. 7  Days Prior to the Event Deadline: You may cancel your entry and receive a credit valued at 40% of your entry fee to use toward any GRO event within 1 year of cancellation. You MUST cancel no less than 7 days prior to the scheduled event.
  4. 6-0 Days before the Event:  Cancellations less than 7 days prior to an event and no-shows do not qualify for a credit.

 

 

Cancelations must be made in writing to info@groraces.com. Cancelation inquires will not be accepted via text or social media messaging.

Event Cancellations

The safety of racers, your crew, and our volunteers and staff is critically important to us here at GRO ! This means there may come a time when a race must be delayed,  shortened or canceled due to Mother Nature or other uncontrollable circumstances. In this situation we will do our best to modify times so we can get fair results, but under no circumstances will refunds be issued.

 

Category Changes, and Entry Transfers

YOU Can now edit items on your registration if you have a Bikereg Account.  Racer name, phone, address, and email. You can also change the team category or team names. 

Transfers and Category Changes must be made through your Bike Reg Account. Some actions are not allowed if you register as a guest. Change fees will apply.

Looking for a Discount?

If you are forming a corporate team you can get %50 off your entry by pledging your team to help as an ambassador team with the treat-center, lighting, bike repair or timing tent. Minimum of 3 volunteer hours per person on your team. You will also get a primo reserved spot. contact the race director directly before you register.

We also allow for discounts at the rate of $10 per volunteer hour.
